Pets Make a house a HOME.

We both grew up in large families with lots of pets. We have fond memories of the pets who filled our childhood homes with love - between us, we've had seven dogs, two cats, three rabbits, three parakeets, two ducks, and numerous fish, gerbils, hamsters, and even a hermit crab. We currently have the pleasure of sharing our home with a spoiled miniature dauchshund named Hokie (yes we are Virginia Tech football fans) and a rescued greyhound named Special.

We were both born and raised here in Roanoke. Kathy attended Northside High School, Virginia Western Community College and Radford University, and Kirk attended Patrick Henry, VWCC and Ferrum, but believe it or not, we actually met for the first time when our jobs brought us together in Greensboro. We were married in 1989, and in 1992 we started our own pet sitting service in Kernersville, North Carolina. In addition to dogs, cats, birds, and fish, we cared for horses, snakes, and even three miniature pot-bellied pigs. Pet sitting proved to be a very fufilling profession, and we treasured the close relationships we developed with our clients and their pets.

But the birth of our children made us long to be closer to our families, so in 1996 we returned to Roanoke. Over the ensuing years, as our two sons and daughter have grown and we've been active with their school PTA's and in the community, we realized how much we missed the bonds we built with our pet care business. So we are most pleased to unleash our personalized pet care services in Roanoke - Creature Comfort - and we look forward to caring for your pets. We promise to provide you with the best care anywhere.
